Yellowstone in a day

After we left the farm we headed to Billings, Big Timber and Bozeman to visit more family and friends.  We decided to hit Yellowstone on our way home.  We saw a lot in one day!  Not meant to see everything, but catch a few highlights - we succeeded!
We stopped right away to have a picnic lunch and Kaylynn got right to work earning her Junior Ranger badge!
Gibbon Falls
Artists Paintpot area
Mud pots - disgusting, yet cool!
Norris Geyser Basin area
Steamboat Geyser
Firehole Falls
Midway Geyser Basin area
Grand Prismatic - my favorite (as you can tell by all the pictures!)
Old Faithful
Love these two!
Glad we didn't see the animal that left this print in the sand...
I don't remember the names of all of these geysers and such that we wandered past near Geyser Hill, but they are all so cool!
Bacteria - very colorful!
Firehole River
Castle Geyser
Strike a pose!
We found a hidden Mickey in West Thumb Geyser Basin area!
We met some Sioux fans on our walk around this basin - glad we had our gear on!
This poor guy met his demise in a hot mud pot.
A pelican near Fishing Bridge.
The newest Junior Ranger!
Stinky Sulphur Caldron!
Right before we headed home we decided it wouldn't be a true trip to Yellowstone if we didn't see some bison.
