We had a great time on the farm in early July. We left on the 4th and stopped in WY to pick up some fireworks for the occasion. Kaylynn also made a hat at camp and wore it proudly. Fun was had by all and no digits were lost - success!
A fountain.
Our firecracker!
The next morning Kaylynn celebrated her birthday (again, but for real this time)!
Grandma made her a beautiful and yummy cake!
The boys took some time that evening to shoot clay pigeons.
I was more interested in the storm in the background! And in searching for agates with Kaylynn!
Kaylynn also found this little guy during our search.
We had a beautiful sunset that evening, which these pictures do not do justice.
We saved some of the fireworks for Kaylynn's birthday and had another show that night.
We had some "real" ones (artillery) to enjoy!
And Kaylynn had more fun with the sparklers.
The rest of the time we just hung out, helped with chores and enjoyed our visit.
Cory helped put up the new gates that Pete welded.
Kaylynn loved driving the four-wheeler.
I spent a lot of time taking pictures, of course! The livestock cooperated nicely!
Especially Sloan.
New kittens we found at Pete's. Kaylynn just loves them and is so good with them!
Maggie
Just a cute kid!
Kaylynn also rode horse one afternoon all by herself.
She did a great job!
We got another storm later that afternoon. Pete said Cory and I were "on point" running from window to window to check it out!
Again, we had a beautiful sunset after the storm passed. It is so green this year in Eastern MT - very nice!
Finally, here is the kitten Kaylynn found and Grandpa's when she was there in May. She was still tame - thanks, Grandpa!
