First day of Kindergarten!!

Kaylynn had a great first day of Kindergarten. She has a wonderful teacher and already knows 3 girls and 2 boys in her class. The only tears this morning at drop-off where mine! She is so grown up now, I can hardly believe this day is already here. Can she stay 5 forever now? Here are some pictures from her day.

A big hearty breakfast of French Toast - her favorite!
Ready to head out the door.
Oh, wait, a few more pictures first!

Walking to school.
Kaylynn and her teacher, Miss Kreutner.
Lined up and heading in to the classroom.
And here she is, home from her first day of school. AND, she wants to go back tomorrow!!

G & G's visit

We had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma Vogt here. We fit in a lot of fun activities and a trip down to Colorado Springs. Here are some pictures from the week.

Kaylynn went to Lucy's birthday party and got this cute fairy skirt and wand as a party favor. She came straight home and put it on with her dance leotard and put on quite a show for all of us.
When we went down to Colorado Springs our first stop was Garden of the Gods. It is so beautiful there and as long as Kaylynn could climb on the rocks she was happy.
Our next stop was the Olympic Training Center. Maybe someday Kaylynn will be down there training for some sport! Watch for her in 2024!
We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo so Grandma could pet the giraffes - I think she enjoyed that! Kaylynn insisted on wearing her giraffe dress and she looked very cute. She got to pet an albino walabee (only one in 250,000 are born that way) and she feed a bird on a stick! We also enjoyed watching the mountain lions desperately want to attack a turkey that got out of its cage.

Grandma was a bit worried standing under so many birds flying around!
What's that I smell in the air?!!

Lunch!

Catching up...again!

I had quite a few pictures I have been meaning to post for quite a while now. Here are a few from the last month or two.

For Kaylynn's birthday she always paints something at Crackpots. This year it was a unicorn. She did a great job.
The finished productAnd just a cute picture!Kaylynn got makeup from Lucy for her birthday. That very night she came home and put some on. She had a great time with that! (Daddy told her she looked like a football player, she didn't quite understand why!)
She also got a tattoo kit from Henry and had fun putting one on Daddy.
We spent a Sunday down at Broomfield Bay several weekends ago. Kaylynn loved the water slides! She went down all by herself and swam to the edge when she was done.
Otis went down with Cindy.
And James enjoyed his nap!
