Sydney Day 5

On our fifth day in Sydney we had tickets to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony at the Opera House.  Prior to the show we spent more time enjoying the city.  We went back to Pancake's on the Rocks (a favorite breakfast spot) first and then wandered.  Sorry, I know you have already seen lots of Harbor Bridge and Opera House pictures, but this post will be full of many more!  They are just so spectacular!
Just to change it up a bit...

Kaylynn had a lot of fun taking pictures (especially of all the birds, but I will spare you all of those - probably wishing I would do the same with the bridge/opera house)!

The Opera House up close - so amazing!

My artistic shots!

Inside.  Kaylynn was one of two kids that we saw at the symphony.  Thy symphony was fantastic.  The lead female violinist was extraordinary.  Kaylynn loved to watch her standing up there in her beautiful red gown.  K fell asleep an hour or so in - she hung in there pretty well!
Inside looking at the other "wing" (symmetrical to what we were standing in).
Looking out towards the bridge.
After thy symphony we walked through the Royal Botanic Gardens.  It was beautiful and offered many more amazing views of my favorite sites!

There were so many cool birds.  The cockatoos and parrots were favorites.
We could look back towards thy Sydney Eye.

Short distraction, back to my favorites...!

Christmas card photo!

Seriously, I was about done taking pictures when we heard a cruise ship horn.  We couldn't leave then!  We stood by and watched it pass underneath the Harbor Bridge (I am pretty sure it barely fit!) and waved to all the passengers on deck.
Just had to share a picture of this cute little Lutheran church right across the street from our hotel.  Everything was written in German.
Finally, on our last day we decided to head back to Manley Beach and relax before the long trek home.  It was an amazing adventure!
