Countertops!

Step by step, our kitchen is coming together! The countertops were installed today and they look great. You really need to come see this step in person, as it is very hard to capture in a picture, but for what it's worth, here they are.
And Cory can now see our new kitchen in a whole new way - 20/15 the day after Lasik!!
I better post this before he see's it!!

lights

Not too much happened in the kitchen this week, but we did get the pendant lights put up and the fridge in its place. Countertops will be installed on Monday...yeah!!! More updates next week showing that progress, along with the backsplash. We are getting close to moving back in and cooking a nice meal!

The final day of fun

On our last day at Disney World we chose to go back to Magic Kingdom. We spent the entire day there and were all exhausted when we left. It was a fabulous day weather-wise as well, cloudy and only 82!

One of the main objectives for the day was to meet Ariel. I think we waited in line longer to meet her then any other line we waited in all week - but it was worth it!
K was also lucky enough to see the newest princess - Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog (coming out in December - we'll be there!). They put on a show through the streets and then had a "Showboat Jubilee". Then later in the day we went and got her autograph!
Cory and K also rode Splash Mountain twice! I just took pictures and stayed dry!
We watched the parade go by in its entirety this time.
After the parade we headed out on the monorail to the Contemporary resort to have dinner at Chef Mickeys Buffet.
And then we headed back to Magic Kingdom for the light parade and the fireworks show. I loved the fireworks (as you can tell from all the pictures!)
The last ride we rode before we left was "It's a Small World"!It was such a fabulous family vacation! We are already planning our trip back!!

Hollywood Studios

Here we are at Hollywood Studios!
They had some neat characters made out of plants and flowers.
K got to meet quite a few characters here as well. Her autograph book is nearly full!
We had a character lunch, too, at Play 'n Dine.
Kaylynn even got into the action!According to Cory, the best rides were at Hollywood Studios. He loved the Rockin' Roller coaster and we all really enjoyed the Toy Story Mania ride (For the record, I beat Cory's score the second time we played!)! Here we are waiting in line for the Toy Story ride. They really entertain you, even in the lines. Mr Potato Head was telling us jokes!
Sportin' the 3D glasses!
Daddy was excited to meet these guys!
This was Halloween night so we went to Downtown Disney. It was crowded but really fun to be down there during the celebrations.
The next night, after a day at the water park, Blizzard Beach, we went back to Downtown Disney. Did I say it was Halloween? I meant Christmas! We also went to the massive Legoland. Cory and Kaylynn each made a sign (because that's what you do there, right Steph and Tom?!)
And finally, back at the hotel K took this picture of us. She tried to get Tramp in there too (shocking, I know), but she cut him off!
Sigh, only one more day left to blog about!!
