Nutcracker 2012 - Our Soldier

Kaylynn was a soldier in the Nutcracker ballet this year.  It was fun to see the performance again, especially since they made a few changes to it.

 The cutest soldier ever!  She always had me put her "cheeks" on while she was smiling so she could smile during the performance!

 Kaylynn took this picture of herself before one of the performances.

 And then she took one of me putting cheeks on!  I was a backstage mom this year.  It was fun to see the "happenings" backstage.  It is a lot of work and they pull it together nicely.  Makes you appreciate the final product you see on stage even more.
