Today I went with 60 Kindergartners out to a farm east of town. They all had a great time! I only had to keep track of 3, but that was plenty! Most of the kids had never ridden on a yellow school bus before so this was one of the highlights! After they got off the bus we all got on two massive trailers that drove us around to pick potatoes and carrots out of the ground, corn, pumpkins and cabbage. It was very fun. I think the kids liked digging the carrots out the best. After a lunch of swatting bees (only one bee sting, amazingly!) we had an hour and a half to play on all the other "stuff" around the farm...corn maze, haystack castle, jumping pillow, playground, barrel train and, another big hit, a BIG pile of dirt. Have you ever taken a slide down a pile of dirt?!! Here are the pictures from our day at the farm.
The kids I had to keep track of: Kate, Kaylynn, and Zach
Miss Kreutner's classes (AM and PM).
