Blizzard!

I guess I spoke to soon about no winter around here. We had a fantastic snow storm here today and even got out of work at Noon! We got about a foot of snow at our house (very hard to tell exactly because it was very windy with lots of big drifts and some areas of bare ground!). We just came back in from shoveling and sledding. Kaylynn has been waiting all winter to sled and make snow angels. She had a fabulous time. Here are a bunch of pictures from our afternoon.

The wind was really blowing the snow around:

We were very impressed - if you look very hard you can see the mail delivery truck across the street...even in a blizzard!
