It was nice that Washington and Lincoln were born so close together so that they could give us a day off in February. It gave us an excuse to head up to Montana to meet up with my parents at my grandparents' place in Big Timber. We had a great time visiting and relaxing and eating some of grandma's amazing cooking. Dad and I drove up to Toston to look at some bulls one day. I like to think I contributed something, even if it was just company for dad on the trip. Kaylynn really enjoyed seeing her grandparents and great-grandparents. Of course, they had presents for her.
She helped cut up some bread for breakfast.
And here's a family shot right before we left for Billings.
We spent a night in Billings with my aunt and uncle. Kaylynn had a blast playing with Casey and Lindsay (my cousins). Unfortunately, the camera didn't make it out during our stay so no pictures there. However, the Sioux fans reading this blog will be happy to hear that Casey will be heading out to UND next fall. She was just there when the temperatures were around -20 and it didn't scare her off either. We figure she'll be able to keep us in Sioux gear for the next 4 (plus?) years.
