Kaylynn got her first taste of camping this weekend. She had to bring her flashlight to church on Sunday morning because she was so excited! We went up Sunday afternoon to Pawnee National Grasslands with some friends. It is supposed to be a great place to bird watch, but with Kaylynn and Lucy, we did not see too many of those!! The girls had fun looking at bugs, running every where and playing horse shoes. Monday morning we went over to the Pawnee Buttes. They were pretty neat to see way out on the plains. By the end of the hike the girls were exhausted and we headed home. It was a great time!

Hey guys, we had a great time, too. Lucy can't stop talking about camping and tents and ants and marshmellows and Kaylynn! I love, love, love the photos of the girls holding hands can we grab those from you? I signed up for a blogger account a while ago with the intent to do the same thing--keeping family and friends posted about Lucy, but school started and i had no time to journal. I was thinking of resurrecting this idea for our road trip and our visit to CA. I'll let you know. jenna
