Dabble

We had a great "Girl's Night Out" last night and went to a paint studio to create our very own Red Poppies!  It was a lot of fun.  Here are a few pictures from the evening taken by Dabble staff.

 

 

 We got the idea to do this after Kaylynn went to a birthday party at Dabble.   Here are a few pictures from that event as well!

 

Go #6!

 Kaylynn had her first soccer game of the fall last weekend.  She was pretty excited about having an "official" uniform and a number this year.  She picked #6!  She said she felt like a professional.  It was a good first game.  I look forward to seeing how the season progresses with the "Shooting Stars".

Laboring up the mountain

Over Labor Day weekend we decided to beat the heat and head up to Lake Isabel for a hike.  When Kaylynn got out front, she set a grueling pace up and nearly ran us back down - she is turning into quite the hiker!  It was a nice afternoon.

First day of school!  Kaylynn is ready.  She was even spoiled with a pedicure for the occasion!

Hanging Lake hike

Cory, Dad and I hiked up to Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs this past weekend.  It was a beautiful hike.  The canyon is amazing.  I will definitely do the hike again - with a tripod next time!

 This is near the start of the trail.  The hike is like climbing a staircase for 1.2 miles!

 

 

There were lots of little waterfalls along the way.
