Disney Vacation - Part I

We had a wonderful time at Disney World the week before Christmas.  It was fun to see everything decorated.  The weather was bit chilly for me, but Cory loved it!  I will post pictures in a few different posts.  Here is the first.  I will have more up in the next several days.

We made it to Orlando!  We took Disney's Magical Express to our hotel.

And Kaylynn immediately put on her swimsuit!

Every hotel and park had a huge Christmas tree decorated with a different theme.  This was in our hotel lobby.

Our lizard friends were all over at the resort.  They were hard to catch on camera, though; Kaylynn finally caught this one!

After a bus trip to Epcot, a monorail ride to the transit center and a ferry ride across to Magic Kingdom, we are finally there!

It is so hard to take pictures of the castle in the dark, but it looks so cool it is hard not to try - over and over again!

There was also a Christmas parade.  It was a fun night!

Opening presents - Part II

Merry Christmas!  We had a quiet Christmas Eve opening presents with just the three of us last night.  We are very blessed and received some great gifts.

Kaylynn picked out new catnip toys for the kitties stockings.  They really liked them and were even fighting over them!

 

 Kaylynn was very excited about all her presents this year.  She was very grateful for each one and thanked everyone as she opened them!

Kaylynn read us lots of jokes last night from her new book and I am sure we will be playing the new game today.

  Cory was pretty excited about his gifts, too!  (Me too, but no one else takes pictures in this house!)

And, finally, Santa came overnight.  Kaylynn got a new ipod touch and case.  We got 3-4 inches of snow last night and Santa left sleigh tracks in our driveway and footprints up to the front door.  It was fantastic to see and we were all surprised!  The reindeer were pretty messy with the carrots on the front porch, but Santa really enjoyed the milk and cookies.
