Random events

My parents were here recently and we had lots of fun with them! Here are a few highlights that we managed to capture on "film".

We went to the National Western Stock Show and took in the petting zoo and rodeo.
Kaylynn had ski lessons one day while they were here. She is doing so great! She is really enjoying it this year and seems to like her instructor, Captain Ron, a lot.
And, of course, play time. K is really into Connect 4 right now and she can legitimately beat us occasionally!
Last night Kaylynn got to perform during the half-time of the basketball game at Mead HS. She was really into it (even though I was hoping she would enjoy the game more than the halftime show!) She even wore her new T-shirt to school today to show her friends!
Finally, they celebrated 100 days of school yesterday - Wow! She has come a long way in 100 days! You should hear this girl read (when she wants to!).

Cheer and Dance

Kaylynn went to a cheer and dance clinic that the Mead High School girls put on on Saturday. It was for K-5 so she was one of the youngest out there but she really seemed to enjoy it. They learned a couple of cheers and a little dance routine that they will be preforming at halftime of a basketball game this week! Here is a highlight video of the clinic on Saturday (K is in there quite a few times, she has a pink shirt and flower leggings on). We will post pictures of the halftime show soon.
